We use a waterbased acrylic lacquer for our finishing work for many reasons.

It is more ECO friendly. It cleans up with water(no solvents). It's less poisonous to us.
It gives better protection against acids and oils than other traditional guitar finishes.
It rivals nitrocellulose lacquer in appearance with less shrinkage.

Installing Bridges, or Bridge Saddles require resetting your action, and intonation.
